Hello. My name is Albino Gomes. I play football in Indian Super League for Kerala Blasters. After winning the Indian league with Aizwal FC in 2017 and being named the best goal keeper in the tournament, I endured the most 3 years of my career.
I was side-lined by a knee injury followed by an ACL tear that kept me out of play for about 3 seasons. Initially I was devastated, as this hurdle came my way right when my career was about to take off. However, with help of my family, doctors and all friends, I was able to come back stronger than ever.
I signed with Kerala Blasters last year and there has been no looking back since. Remember, every set back is the pit stop to the success. Keep Pushing forward regardless of any obstacles that may come. May the sport of life never stop.
